Becoming a Mason:

In order to become a Mason, you must request a petition from a member of the Lodge you wish to join. This must be done of your own free will; you will not be pressured into requesting membership – that is against our rules. The basic requirements in the State of California are that you be a man, at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and recommended by two members of the Lodge you wish to join. You will also be asked to provide two additional references, who need not be Masons.

How can you know who is a member of a Lodge? You may see a man wearing a Square and Compasses ring or tiepin, or other jewelry with our insignia on it. You can ask a man if he is a Mason. You may contact our Secretary or other officer to make inquiries. We do have occasional events at which the public is welcome, including our monthly Stated Meeting Dinners; you may attend these and meet members – or, perhaps, find that some of the men you already know are members. We also attend some public events as Masons, such as the Livermore Rodeo Parade in June.

Mosaic Lodge is a member organization of the Livermore Chamber of Commerce.

We also are to be found with our Kids ID program at several of Livermore’s downtown events, and at other events around the Valley as well.
