Mason
Mosaic
Lodge was originally chartered by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons
of California as Pleasanton Lodge No. 218 in 1872. Over the next few decades, it moved between Pleasanton and
Livermore depending on where most of the members lived. Eventually, Livermore became the permanent location,
and our name was changed to Mosaic Lodge to avoid confusion. Our historic
building at the corner of First Street and South Livermore Avenue was erected
in 1909, and we are currently planning for the celebration of the building’s
Centennial in 2009.
